As an addendum to a previous post where I bitched about postal workers getting every holiday possible off work, check this out: postal workers may get another day off work a week. Ok, who knows if that's what this truly means, but WHATEVER! I will take it as I want to take it!

I read in the USA Today they are petitioning to cut the work week because their revenues dropped, because less people are mailing stuff, like businesses that do direct mail marketing. Well Mr. Postmaster, I think people would have been mailing stuff last year if you didn't insist on providing crappy service &/or raising your stamps to almost 50 cents per envelope.
Then I went to the post office to give them business, not because I feel sorry, but because I had to mail a package yesterday, and yes they will be open still on Saturdays, but I have to waste my time & gas to visit those pleasant people on my weekends. Ugg!
LOL I know! It's usually never a pleasant situation! And I hate how they raise the cost of stamps without a well-broadcasted announcement! Half the time I'm completely in the dark that the cost has gone up and all my stamps are now rendered useless (unless I go buy those pesky 2 cent stamps - what a waste)
